Beyza Åžat Güngör

Dr. Beyza Åžat Güngör will work as an Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture and Design. Dr. Güngör obtained her B.Sc. as top of her class from Istanbul University, Landscape Architecture Department in 1999, then she orderly obtained her M.Sc. in 2002 and Ph. D. in 2009 from Landscape Architecture Program of Science Institute of Istanbul University.
Landscape analysis, landscape planning, ecological planning subjects are the professional fields of her. Over a span of ten years, she participated in universities and taught on subjects of landscape design, landscape ecology, plant material, planting design and green spaces’ design of housing projects.
She is a member of chamber of Landscape Architects of Turkey TMMOB, IALE (International Association of Landscape Ecology), and Ecocity Builders. She is interested in folk dances, and she had attended international festivals (festival awards in 1993 in Poland; in 1994, in Spain, Sevilla).
